I'MAR
I'mar's program continues the development of students' personalities and religious fervor. It aims to instill in students the need to please Allah and be granted Jannah as well as the desire for personal gratification and how to spread that to others. The program is tailored to provide students with the knowledge, resources, and skills through the Quran and sunnah to practice Islam effectively in our context. Using the process of gradual release, instructors deliver materials through four focuses gauged at different percentages throughout levels depending on student needs and phase goals: students are required to read, understand what they read, memorize specific religious concepts and verses and then demonstrate all of the above by acting on their knowledge in their everyday lives. The program aims to aid students in memorizing a minimum of five chapters of the Quran and to be able to recite the entire Quran in its proper form upon graduation from the program.
